Saving
resumes stored on your computer into HireCraft
To save any new resume that is stored on your computer, click on the New button on the toolbar and then click Open button to
browse for a resume located on your computer. Upon selecting the resume,
when asked "Do you want to parse this resume?"
click yes. And the selected resume is attached and depending on the information
available in the resume, they are automatically filled into respective
fields above. Once the informations are parsed press Save button on the toolbar or hit F3 on the keyboard to save the resume. You
will also be notified in the status bar below whether resume has been
saved or need any valid entries.
Every
time you make changes to a already saved resume or new resume you need
to Save if desired, else they
will be discarded. You will have to follow the above step if you're going
to save any new resume subsequently.
Hints: if you need to save more than one resume,
then we suggest you use Import Resumes feature,
using which you can save more than one resume that can be any number of
quantity, without having to save one by one. Click

Creating
a Task for Candidate
Most
of the times you are required to make note of important follow-ups or
a call with the candidate on a specific date & time. In that case
you can add tasks of candidate to your planner which reminds you on those
specified date & Time, by clicking on Candidate Tasks button on the toolbar and Click Add
Task on the toolbar of the window. If there is an existing task you
can view them by selecting the respective task in the grid and press View
Task button or double click on the
task in the grid.
Updating
the Resume Status
By clicking on Resume
Status button on the toolbar, you can update the status of any
resume, for instance if candidate isn't interested or not reachable when
you called him/her. Status that you can update are Draft,
Available, In Process, Hired, Blocked, Not Interested, Not reachable,
Interested Later and Confidential.
Note: Only one status along with either Confidential marked or unmarked,
can be set.
Updating
the Candidate Status in a Requirement
By Clicking on Candidate
Status button on the toolbar, you can update the status of the
candidate's stage in a Requirement to which you have attached the candidate.
Note: This Button is visible only if you have opened the resume of the
candidate from the Selected Candidate
List window
Attaching resume to the Selected Open Requirements
You can attach any resume that you have
opened currently, by clicking on Add
Resume to button, then navigate to menu and click >
Selected Requirement (xxxx), where 'xxxx' refers to the name of
requirement that is currently selected within Requirement
